Responsibilities will include the provision of best practice methodology to assess & screen clients, and to provide individual & group counseling. The position will be expected to provide educational sessions and group therapy in the Day Treatment Program as required.Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective AgreementHuman Resources Exemption:NoExperienceExperience with group therapy and addiction assessments and interventions.Clinical experience is preferred.EducationA degree acceptable by the employer with relevant experienceBachelor of Chemical DependencyBachelor of Social Work (BSW)Additional Baccalaureate degrees (generally social sciences or human services) acceptable to the employer may also be considered if candidate has relevant experience.
