To actively participate as a member of both the Health Care Team and the Nursing Team. To maintain individual competence and uphold professionalism in alignment with current practice standards. To ensure accurate and timely documentation of nursing records.To function effectively within a multidisciplinary team. To provide education and training to patients, their essential care partners, community agency staff, and other stakeholders. To perform peritoneal dialysis both for acute admitted patients as well as in the home environment, including managing all aspects of care for peritoneal dialysis patients, and providing ongoing advice, counselling, and education related to their condition.
