This position is a hybrid role.Reports to: CFORole PurposeThis role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the organization's financial reporting and cash flow management processes. As a strategic finance team member, the incumbent will support growth initiatives including acquisitions and integrations, assist external audit activities, and collaborate across the business to drive informed decision-making while developing high-performing finance talent.Key accountabilitiesPreparation/review of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportsReview of consolidation of all Resolute Group of companies in accordance with IFRSFinancial reporting requirements for newly acquired companies, including integration into financial reporting in a timely mannerPrepare calculation of quarterly and annual company-wide incentivesReview IFRS 16 calculations on a monthly basisReview balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statement on a monthly basisReview/prepare month over month fluctuation of P&L, including payroll analysisDevelop internal reporting package for executives,



ensuring best insight into segmented resultsWork with the FP&A team to ensure operating management team has adequate information to analyze financial trends and metricsAnnual auditServe as one of the key point of contact for auditors and tax accountantsPrepare Purchase Price Analysis for newly acquired companiesSupport with Resolute entity amalgamations and related complianceSupport with financial due diligence for new acquisitions or business ventures as may be required from time to time by the Corporate Development teamProvide coaching and mentorship for team membersOther tasks as may be assigned from time to time, including cross training of staff and assistance for planned & unplanned absences across the finance functionSkills and CompetenciesStrong critical thinking and analytical judgment, including the ability to perform reasonableness checks, validate completeness and accuracy, and interpret results beyond the spreadsheetAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reportingSolid financial literacy and understanding of core accounting and financial conceptsClear, confident communication with the ability to collaborate across Operations and FinanceStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environmentExperience and qualificationsPost-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce or Finance5+ years of progressive experience in financial role.Professional designation and/or graduate education (CPA, MBA, CFA, or equivalent experience) is considered an assetCompensation and benefitsBase salary: $70,000 - $90,000RRSP matching programComprehensive health and dental benefits packageHybrid work environment15 vacation days and 5 wellness daysProfessional development opportunities
