Company OverviewPTW is a trusted industrial and commercial contractor in Calgary, specializing in high-quality welding and fabrication.Material Handler CalgaryCompany OverviewPTW is a trusted industrial and commercial contractor in Calgary, specializing in high-quality welding and fabrication.Role SummaryWe are hiring a Material Handlerto help with day-to-dayoutdoor operations, including the safe and productive movement of materials, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining an organized yard.Key ResponsibilitiesReceives work order pre-pull materials list from Planner and coordinates inventory availability with Production and Procurement departments.Processes all received shipments to ensure that materials meet purchase order specifications.Receives and unloads parts, picks and packages products for fabrication and detail departments.Ensure accuracy of received shipments by comparing the quantity and type of goods received to supporting documentation, such as waybills, packing slips,



and purchase orders.Provides team with complete information on items short shipped, over shipped, or damaged.Notifies supervisor of irregularities and when stock reached re-order point.Assists in performingcycle counts and physical inventory countsQualifications / Requirements2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar roleActive forklift certification an asset.Proficient in identifying materials by dimensions (metric and imperial)Experienced with proper rigging and overhead crane use an assetMust have CSA approved safety bootsMust be ableto manually lift up to 50lbsMust have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportationMust be authorized to work in CanadaCompensation & BenefitsOvertime opportunitiesTools and PPE providedPaid training and skill development
