Working closely with the Site Superintendents and Foreman,



the General Labourer will play a vital role in supporting project completion.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESComplete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and trailersSecure cargo and heavy equipment to flat deck and double drop deck trucksSafely drive and operate vehicles out to infrastructure job sites throughout the cityOperate various hand and power tools; including drills, skid steers, etc.Assist operators in loading and unloading construction materials from trucks both manually and utilizing the use of equipmentExecute daily work under the direction of the site superintendentParticipate in daily safety meetings and fill out hazard assessmentsMaintain a clean work site by handling materials and storing them properlyReport incidents immediately to health and safety or site supervisorQUALIFICATIONSPrevious labour experience in a construction environmentValid drivers license and clean drivers abstractAbility to work evening and weekends when requiredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions
