Our commitment to a culture of integrity, teamwork and collaboration is what drives our continued and sustainable growth.We seek individuals who are engaged, capable and committed to continuous improvement.What you will be doing in the role of Technician, Combustion Services:Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:In office services including configuration, commissioning and troubleshootingSome travel, overtime and after-hours coverage would be requiredMust be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call to respond to emergencies when requiredMust be willing to work outdoors in inclement weatherFollowing through with customer maintenance contract workConsulting diagrams and technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, standards and codesInstalling, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic,
analog & digital including HART)Calibrating components and systemsG1 Gas Technician (Strong G2 may be considered) license to support industrial boiler & burner applications and customersMaintaining sound working relationships with customer's personnel in various functional departments, such as: engineering, purchasing and maintenance.Providing a premier level of customer serviceTimely resolution of all customer concernsPromoting a team approach within LakesidePerforming other duties supportive of main objectives, as assignedPromoting services capabilityKnowledge and skills required for the role:G1 Gas certification, (OBT 1,2,3 an asset)Minimum three (3) years' prior experienceAdvanced troubleshooting abilitiesIntermediate understanding & implementation of CSA B149 CodeAble to climb ladders/stairs and work at heightsConfiguration/Set-up & Troubleshooting knowledge on various Burner Management Systems & Controls including but not limited to Honeywell 7800, Fireye Nexus, & Siemens LMVKnowledge on measurement devices (Flow, pressure, temperature, level, analytical, control valves & positioners)Understanding of electronics and basic electrical requirementAbility to make recommendations & combustion curve changes based on portable gas analyzer dataKnowledge of process controlStrong ability to troubleshoot problems,
