Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Assembler to join a growing production team within a large Engineering company in Calgary. This role is 5 days/week, 8 hours a day, on a 7 month contract with high potential to extend/convert to full time.You will support Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and electronics assembly, as well as assisting with electrical and mechanical testing. The work will vary daily, offering a mix of hands-on technical assembly and computer-based testing/documentation.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPerform PCB and electronics assembly,



including soldering to IPC standardsSupport testing of electrical and mechanical componentsComplete quality checks and documentation using internal systems and ExcelFollow ESD protocols and safety procedures at all timesParticipate in daily team stand-ups and communicate progress/blockersAdapt to changing priorities (some days focused fully on soldering, others on testing/computer work)REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEHands-on soldering experienceExperience working to IPC standards (Class 2 preferred, Class 1 acceptable)Experience with PCBs / electronics assembly (not general electrical work)Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practicesStrong computer skills, including comfort with:Digital work instructions / documentation systemsStrong team mindset and communication skillsComfortable speaking in team stand-upsSafety-focused approach in a manufacturing setting
