Position Title: Program Coordinator – Vision Mates and Peer Support (Northern AB)Location: EdmontonReports To: Senior Manager, Programs and OperationsI. Scope and Summary of Primary ResponsibilitiesThis position will deliver and sustain high quality Vision Mates and Peer Mentorship services in Northern Alberta by recruiting and supervising volunteers for these programs, coordinating peer groups and matches, maintaining Salesforce records for program activity, and ensuring excellent participant experience.II. Essential FunctionsThe position entails, but is not limited to the following general responsibilities:Volunteer recruitment and frontline supervision - recruit, screen, onboard, train, and supervise volunteers for Vision Mates and Peer Mentorship in Northern AB.Program delivery - schedule, facilitate, and support peer groups and Vision Mates matches; ensure participant follow up and quality of experience. develops and implements new programs as required by National/Regional directives or participant needsParticipant engagement - build relationships with participants and implement volunteer recognition initiativesData entry and local reporting - maintain Salesforce records for program activity; produce timely local program summaries and contribute to funder reporting when necessary.Local logistics - coordinates venue bookings for support groups, materials, and travel for local activities.Collaboration - work with Mobile Hub, Accessible Technology Coaches, Children and Youth and the Senior Manager, Programs and Operations Manager to align processes and share best practices.III.
