We work closely with local harvesters and suppliers to deliver the highest standards of quality, service, variety, and value.Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Local Delivery Driver to support our delivery team. Truck would be local pick up 2500-3500 series with box refer. Clean driving record with Class 5 License required.Key ResponsibilitiesMorning truck checksMaintain a clean vehicleDelivery of products to local restaurants, institutions and groceryWhen time permits, provide support to the inside team by assisting with additional duties,



including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below.Pick fresh, frozen and dry goods and prepare them for deliveryPrepare boxes and materials for shipping ordersPack seafood items as required for shippingLoad and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safelyOperate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified or trained)Follow all safety and handling proceduresQualificationsPrevious experience in local delivery an asset or strong knowledge of local routesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPhysically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedlyA robust understanding of the Halifax regional Municipality geographyHours: 38-45 hours per week, depending on the time of year.
