We are currently seeking an experienced CMM Inspector to join a manufacturing team in Mississauga, ON. This is a permanent, unionized opportunity for someone with robust hands-on CMM inspection and programming experience.Key Responsibilities:Perform CMM inspections and dimensional verification of engine components, assemblies, details, and sub-assembliesDevelop and optimize CMM programs using engineering drawings and 3D modelsPerform visual, dimensional, in-process, First Article, final, and receiving inspectionsOperate CMM equipment, interpret inspection results, and identify non-conformancesWork from blueprints, operation sheets, inspection plans, specifications, and work instructionsPerform FOD inspections and ensure compliance with FOD prevention requirementsInspect incoming materials for quantity and product verificationInspect outgoing materials for correct packaging and documentationPerform operator and process audits in support of applicable accreditation requirementsAccurately document and communicate inspection resultsSupport on-the-job training and knowledge transferQualifications:Minimum 3+ years of hands-on CMM inspection experienceCMM programming experience is requiredExperience with MCOSMOS, PC-DMIS, CALYPSO, or similar CMM softwareExperience with LK or Mitutoyo CMM equipment is an assetStrong knowledge of dimensional, visual, in-process, and final inspection techniquesExperience with First Article Inspection and FOD requirementsKnowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9000/14000 standardsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, inspection sheets, and work instructionsQuality Assurance Certificate and/or relevant post-secondary technical education preferredApproximately 4-5 years of related inspection/manufacturing experience preferredCompensation & Schedule:$30.00-35.00/hour, with annual increases in accordance with the CBA.This is a unionized permanent position with day and afternoon shift opportunities:Afternoon Shift: approximately 2:30 PM-12:30 AM, Monday-ThursdaySome flexibility with start times may be available. Shift assignments will be based on business needs.
