The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for picking orders, putting away inventory, and general warehouse clean up. Other tasks may be required when necessary. This position requires organization, detailed orientation, accuracy, and timeliness.Key Responsibilities:Sort, organize and put away inventory in proper locationsPicking of orders for shipping and/or transfers to other MDC locationsRemove or load packages from freight & courier trucksDaily cleanup of common warehouse areasEnsure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aislesWork as an active team member to complete team goalsOther duties as assigned by the Warehouse ManagerRequired Qualifications:Previous work in a warehouse setting with knowledge of warehouse procedures & warehousing is an assetAbility to see the bigger picture and make suggestions for improvementExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenMotivated and energeticExtended periods of standing or walkingAbility to lift up to 50lbsExperience with order picking, packaging, and load & unload activities in a fast-paced settingMD Charlton is an equal chance employer.
