The University of Regina invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer in SW 405-400 Social Work with Indigenous Peoples for the Winter 2027 semester. This blended course will cover key theories and practices to support Indigenous communities.
As a Sessional Lecturer, you will engage students in discussions about oppression, cultural safety, and self-governance. You'll be responsible for preparing lesson content, conducting five remote classes, and providing support to students outside of class hours. A collaborative classroom setting is essential for this course.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain effective course materials
• Deliver lectures both remotely and on campus
• Assign and grade student work in a timely manner




• Promote a supportive classroom atmosphere
• Advise students during office hours as required
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree needed
• Relevant teaching history in higher education
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
