We believe that our experience across the agricultural spectrum allows us to provide the advice and products our customers need to maximize their growth potential.Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):General equipment maintenance and maintenance planningKnowledge of various grains and pulsesMonitoring cleaning equipment and facilitiesAdjusting machinery settings to maximize cleaning efficiencyOperate forklifts, grain augers, tractors, trucks, etcInteraction with retail clients and truckersLoading and unloading customer trucksMaintaining records of incoming products and throughputSample grading during processing and cleaning for quality controlPlant and yard clean up as requiredAssist other plan personnel as neededSeed treating and packagingMust be able to work independentlySkills and Qualifications:Prior Seed Plant, Feed Mill or grain handling experience required.Class 5 Driver's License required; Class 3 or Class 1 considered an assetAbility to operate warehouse equipmentThorough understanding of seed handling, packaging, and treatment processAbility to lift and carry heavy items (over 50lbs) on a regular basisAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentSchedule:Full Time workShift work and weekend work may be required (seasonal)Advantages:Dental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceRRSP matchPartially Subsidized CounsellingEmployee Referral IncentiveWage:$25.00–$32.00/hour, negotiable based on experience.
