Services include recreation and leisure assessment, intervention, program development and evaluation to support enhancing leisure experiences and developing resources within therapeutic recreation domains. As an interprofessional team member, the Recreation Therapist participates in profession-specific and interprofessional activities that support recovery/person-centered Approach to Care and our Collaborative Practice Model. The Recreation Therapist will practice in accordance with Providence Care's Vision, Mission, Ethics and Values, operational policies and procedures, standards of practice and scope of practice as set out by Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO).Education & Experience:Degree or Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Services with a focus in Therapeutic RecreationMember of Therapeutic Recreation Ontario, preferred or eligible for registration with Therapeutic Recreation Ontario or certification as a Therapeutic Recreation SpecialistExperience delivering therapeutic recreation services to adults and/or seniors in community and hospital mental health,
