OverviewJob title:Senior AccountantSalary:$80,000 + bonusRole status:Current openingPosition:4 days a week onsite – Gatineau, QCOur client:A large-scale North American organization operating within a complex, fast-paced corporate environment.ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting responsibilities for assigned entities, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting working papers.Assist with quarterly and year-end financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including analysis of key account fluctuations.Work closely with internal stakeholders across accounting, finance, and operations teams.Review fixed asset schedules, capital additions, disposals, and related reconciliations.Assist with audit support requests and documentation during quarterly and year-end audit periods.Contribute to ongoing process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal control enhancements.Support special projects, acquisitions integrations,



and ad hoc financial analysis as required.Mentor and support junior accounting team members where applicable.Qualifications4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA designation completed or actively pursuing completion.Strong understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting.Experience preparing reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup functions.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools considered an asset.Experience within large corporate, publicly traded, or multi-entity environments considered an asset.Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP considered an asset.Perks and additional information4 days a week onsite in Gatineau, QC with solid emphasis on collaboration.Opportunity to work within a large, highly recognized organization.Exposure to complex accounting processes and process improvement initiatives.Collaborative team culture with opportunities for growth and internal mobility.#J-18808-Ljbffr
