Job Title: Engineer – E3Job ID:90412Location: Burnaby, British ColumbiaOverview:The E3 – Engineer is a fully qualified and accredited engineering professional who applies theoretical and practical knowledge to provide engineering design, estimating, planning, and quality management services for low to medium complexity projects and/or operations safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.What you will be doing:Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electricity generation equipment, including supporting documentation such as maintenance procedures, maintenance instructions, record forms as well as selection of required spare parts to sustain equipment operation. All deliverables with quality, within budget, and on time.Must have minimum four (4)years of engineering experience working in the equipment maintenance and/or commissioning field, or equivalent.Experience with operation, maintenance, and remediation of failures of equipment and systems in the power utility industry, oil and gas industry, or heavy industrial environmentExperience developing preventive maintenance programs and/or developing/performing commissioning plans for a variety of electrical and P&C assets including:Diesel generatorsMedium and low voltage equipment (oil filled and dry type transformers, power circuit breakers, disconnect switches, surge arresters, switchgear, power distribution panels, VFDs, etc.)DC power supply equipment (batteries, chargers, etc.)Control & monitoring related componentsElectrical protection related componentsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC or another jurisdiction and/or eligible for registration as such with Engineers and Geoscientists BCReading and understanding drawings (single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, etc.)
