Excavator OperatorsWe are currently recruiting experienced Excavator Operators to join our growing team.What we offer:$35 - $42 per hour, based on experienceLong-term employment for qualified individualsBenefit planGeneral Duties & Responsibilities:Work safely in a mining or civil construction workplace following company procedures and policiesDaily 360° inspection of all equipment for operational and safety checks and advise if repair is requiredPre-inspection of equipment includes checking all fluid level and ensuring they are topped up as neededAccurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs as requiredFollow equipment maintenance schedule and advise if repair is requiredRegularly perform safety inspection of equipment and toolsSupport operations through manual labour, including shoveling, operating powered equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, light maintenance,



and other duties as neededRequirements:Ability to complete mandatory internet-based Orientation and Indoctrination training and certificationClass 5 Driver's Licence and ability to provide a clean Drivers AbstractOperate safely with care and attention to the equipment, the jobsite and the crew3 plus years' experience operating a CAT ExcavatorFamiliar with Field Level Hazard AssessmentWillingness to step out of the cab and perform labour tasks if and when requiredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbsStrict attention and compliance with equipment cleanliness, maintenance and completing logsExperience on other equipment such as dozers is an assetMining experience an assetGood communication skillsReliable transportationLocation:BC Interior - project locations are currently within the Kamloops/Thompson area. This is not a camp position.
