SUMMIT Inspection Services Ltd. has provided in‐service pressure vessel inspections predominately to the Oil and Gas industry across western Canada since 2004, and is seeking a skilled, experienced, and team‐oriented candidate who values quality and integrity.SHIFT AND LOCATIONThis is a call‐out position with no guaranteed set number of hours.Fly‐in/fly‐out role (from approved hubs). if requiredThe position may or may not be camp‐based, depending on the assignment.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform Radiography to inspect materials or components for flaws utilizing gamma rays. Knowledge of the safe operation and use of the Delta 880 requiredFollow all safety regulations in regard to transportation, safe handling of exposure devicesKeep precise documentation of radiographic activities, including logs for materials, exposure settings, and outcomesPrepare and calibrate exposure equipment, ensuring it operates correctly and adheres to safety regulations.Conduct radiographic inspections using gamma‐ray or X‐ray equipment to detect defects in materials, parts, or structuresResponsible to adhere to all safety regulations and standards, and maintain safe work practices, particularly when handling radioactive substances and exposure equipmentUnderstand and complete work assignments as per company inspection procedures, in a timely, effective and competent mannerComplete field sketches as required in accordance with approved proceduresMaintain and utilize the shared equipment effectively,



minimizing and preventing damagePerform the scope of work to completion and satisfaction of the clientUnderstand local jurisdiction regulations in conducting job tasksReport equipment maintenance/repair issues in accordance with company procedures for corrective actionOversee repair and maintenance for equipment assigned and ensure related documentation is maintainedRecord results of inspections and perform NDT methods and other operationsResponsible to adhere to all safety regulations, standards and maintain safe work practicesResponsible to report any unsafe work activities, hazards or concernsResponsible to mentor and provide guidance to assistant crew membersCommunicate with clients in a friendly, efficient and qualified manner when interactingResolve client questions, concerns or complaintsQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSCEDO Certification, with additional NDT certifications considered an assetMinimum two (2) years of experienceBasic CR Techniques: Image acquisition, Image quality indicators (IQIs), Display of acquired images, Optimization of displayed image, Storage of acquired and optimized imageExperience with profile radiography and digital radiographyMust have the following valid safety certifications prior to employment: H2S Alive, Emergency First Aid, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), Confined Space Entry and Rescue, OSSA Fall Protection, and TDG Class 7IRATA Rope Access certification RequiredSelf‐motivated with the ability to work independentlyAbility to work at high elevationsAbility to lift up to 50lbs. unassisted and to operate hand toolsStrong verbal and written communication skillsRead and write in EnglishAbility to collaborate on assignmentsExperience working in confined spaces and working from heightsStrong attention to detail required to provide thorough inspection observationsStrong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and AccessValid driver's license requiredCandidates will be required to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test prior to site deploymentSUMMIT provides competitive compensation.
