Final candidates must successfully pass a safety critical medical exam and will undergo medical monitoring as prescribed by Transport Canada. In the maintenance season you will be working 4 days of 10 hour day shifts (7am to 5pm).Responsible for the execution of all work orders which may include repairs, inspections, modifications, and other related tasks. All work on RM Rolling Stock and RM facilities must be performed to applicable industry norms, Regulatory Safety standards, and RM Standard Operating Procedures. As Rocky Mountaineer is a cooperative team setting, you may regularly be assigned duties to assist other trades or that are outside of your core trade competency.Key Areas of AccountabilityAssemble, wire, and test electro-mechanical systems in an efficient and timely matter as per manufacturing scheduleDiligence and accuracy in labeling of cables and terminationsPerform I/O and wiring integrity checks prior to power-upPerform activities such as quality inspections, part assessments, and reporting deficiencies within the manufacturing process will be requiredUnderstand and perform various electrical activities as per electrical drawings and schematicsDemonstrate a high attention to detail approach in performing work, a strong ability to successfully work in teams and effectively work independentlyResponsible for maintaining a clean and organized work areaEnsuring day-to-day activities are performed in compliance with the Rocky Mountaineer safety programContribute and foster an environment which encourages, supports,
