and the work you do here will stay with you long after your time at The Post.Position OverviewThe Prep Cook plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness across all kitchen outlets.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare proteins, produce, baked goods based on production needs.Portion, wrap, date, and correctly store all ingredients.Clean and sanitize stations, equipment, fridges, storage areas.Safely operate kitchen equipment and appliancesAssist line cooks, chefs during service as required.Adhere to appearance standards and kitchen uniform policy.Comply with all food handler safety, hygiene procedures.Communicate stock shortages and equipment issues promptly.Work positively in quick-paced environmentSkills & Experience1+ years kitchen prep experience, culinary internship students considered.Culinary education is an asset.Responsible self-starter and contributorExceptional efficiency, attention to detailStand, lift up to 30 lbs., bend for entire shift.Flexible schedule – able to work variable hours.Post Hotel & Spa (The Post) is committed to building a workplace where everyone can succeed and belong.
