The role:My client are seeking a Storage Platform Engineer to join their elite team.You will work on enterprise Storage services at a rapidly expanding company, including build, design, architectural and support duties.Responsibilities:Design, deployment and support of highly complex, distributed Storage platformsArchitectural work around high throughput Storage solutions such as NFS, GPFS and WEKACapacity planning and forecastingAutomating Storage and tuning for optimum performanceWorking on and improving Observability practices for the varied Storage estateSkills required:Solid Storage experience combined with a thorough understanding of LinuxExperience with technologies such as NFS, GPFS, WEKA, Lustre, Ceph, or comparableConfiguration Management via Chef or AnsibleExperience working with a high level programming language (Python / Go / Rust)Good understand of CI/CD and the SDLCExperience with Observability within Storage (ELK / Datadog / Prometheus / Grafana etc.)Cloud based Storage experience (AWS / GCP)Cloudian / MinIO / S3General Storage hardware (arrays / JBOD's / NVMe / SSD / HBA's / Networked Storage)
