You will be an integral part of the Giant Tiger team, ensuring customers have a pleasant shopping experience at the checkouts. This role involves operating the cash register accurately and keeping the checkout area clean and organized. You’ll be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, contributing to up to 24 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exemplary customer service during transactions
• Accurately enter sales into the electronic cash register
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas




• Restock merchandise and assist with loss prevention
• Ensure compliance with tobacco and lottery policies
Requirements:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a robust service focus
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Physical ability to lift items up to 40 lbs
• Retail experience is preferred but not required
