This is a 12 month contract and will support irregular business hours to support production operations.RoleWe are seeking a motivated and talented EGSE and Test Engineer at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. The candidate will participate in the development of test equipment and support testing of satellite electronic units.TasksCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for the development test equipment used for testing satellite electronic units; Support testingof satellite electronic units; Be part of an engineering team specializing in test equipment,



otherwise called electrical ground support equipment (EGSE); Design and support manufacturing of electrical test equipment and cable harnesses.Produce design documentation such as electrical diagrams, assembly drawings, bill of materials, etc.Assist engineering in analyses and writing of test procedures; Support procurement, manufacturing and validation of test equipment; Possibility of evening and weekend support during equipment commissioning period or when equipment problems occur in productionExperience And Skills RequiredSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering; Minimum 2 yearsof experience.Hands-on experience in electronic design; Skills in printed circuit board (PCB) design; Ability to workautonomously and in a collaborative team, solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; Interest for laboratory work.AssetsDiptrace or equivalent PCB cad tool.Knowledge of stepper motors and drivesKnowledge of Python or VBA.Knowledge of microcomputers (Raspberry Pi / Arduino)Knowledge of PSoC programmingMicrosoft office suite and Visio.Bilingual (French / English)Comments/Special ConsiderationsSuccessful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.Benefits StatementMDA provides competitive compensation and benefits packages for its employees at all locations.
