We are seeking an experienced 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician to join our team on a 6-storey wood-frame apartment project in Abbotsford. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician with direct multi-family residential experience to take on a key role within our crew and help drive the project through the rough-in and finishing stages.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in quality workmanship, and has a strong understanding of apartment construction. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience wiring multi-family residential projects and be comfortable working at a steady production pace while helping oversee others.

Responsibilities

- Complete suite rough-in and finishing work efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work with and assist with the installation of meter stacks and electrical closet assemblies.
- Install and work with TEL/Data risers, suite feeds, house load circuitry, fire alarm, and other multi-family electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and suite layouts.
- Help organize and oversee apprentices to keep work progressing efficiently.
- Maintain a consistent production pace throughout the rough-in and finishing stages.
- Identify and correct deficiencies and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, electrical code requirements, and WorkSafeBC regulations.

Qualifications
- Registered 4th Year Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician.
- Direct experience working on apartment, condo, or other multi-family residential projects.
- Strong experience with suite rough-in and finish work.




- Experience with electrical closet assemblies, including meter stacks, suite feeds, and related distribution.
- Familiarity with TEL/Data risers and common-area circuitry.
- Strong understanding of residential electrical construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger crew.
- Comfortable providing direction and overseeing apprentices.
- Solid work ethic with the ability to maintain a consistent pace on a production-based project.
- Reliable transportation to the Abbotsford job site.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on ladders and scaffolding.

Previous multi-family/apartment experience is a key requirement for this position.

- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
