About us

Guided Spectrum is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Oakville offering ABA, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Neurofeedback. Our in-home ABA program brings individualized, evidence-based intervention directly to families across the Halton and Peel regions.

The opportunity

We're contracting experienced Instructor Therapists to deliver 1:1 ABA programming in clients' homes, with clinical oversight from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst or Registered Behaviour Analyst. You'll work with children and youth on communication, daily living, social, and adaptive skills, and see the progress you help create week over week.

What the work involves

- Delivering individualized behaviour intervention programming in the family home
- Collecting accurate session data and submitting session notes through our practice management system
- Applying naturalistic teaching, discrete trial training, and other ABA strategies suited to each learner
- Supporting skill generalization and coaching caregivers on strategies in the home environment
- Participating in clinical supervision and team consultation
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards at all times

What you bring

- Post-secondary education in ABA, Psychology, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Education,



or a related field (ABA/Autism and Behavioural Sciences graduate certificate an asset)
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Prior experience working as an ABA therapist
- Own qualified liability insurance (proof of active coverage required before first session)
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle — travel throughout Halton and Peel is required
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C is an asset
- Strong communication skills and real warmth with kids and families

Contract details

- Independent contractor engagement — you invoice for hours worked and are responsible for your own taxes, CPP, and insurance
- No mileage reimbursement; travel costs are your own
- Set your own availability; caseload is offered based on client need and geography
- Primarily after-school and early evening hours, with daytime and weekend availability an asset
