We are seeking an organized and conscientious candidate to join our accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and post customer payments accurately

- Maintain precise records of receivable transactions

- Reconcile daily deposits and accounts receivable balances

- Track outstanding customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances, investigate and resolve any payment issues

- Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information

- Work together with the different departments in the dealership

- Assist with month-end tasks including preparing and sending customer statements

- Complete other accounting and administrative duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience is preferred

- Automotive dealership experience is an asset

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Confident when working with numbers and financial records

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong communication and customer-service skills

- Skilled in using Microsoft Excel

- Experience with dealership accounting software is an asset

- Able to work independently as well as thrive in a team setting
