Merit College is dedicated to providing a high-quality education and is committed to enhancing students' English language skills through engaging and interactive after-school programs. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated English teachers to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Teach enrichment English to students in after-school programs for grade 4--grade 8.
- Plan, prepare and implement an approved English language arts curriculum.
- Create fun and interactive lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents on monthly progress reports.
- Collaborate with other staff to improve the program.
- Assist students with assignments and homework.





Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
- Ability to foster a safe and fun classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Ability to set rules and guidelines for student to follow.
