We strive to create an environment where students and staff can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a collaborative and purpose-driven community.The RoleReporting to the Head of Comprehensive Dance Programs, the Administrator provides administrative coordination and operational support for NBS's Comprehensive Dance Programs, including the Young Dancers Program and Adult Ballet Program. The Administrator plays a key role in ensuring programs are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with NBS policies and departmental priorities.This position supports program scheduling, student records, reporting, communications, event logistics, and day-to-day administrative operations. As a primary point of contact for students, families, teachers, and other constituents, the Administrator provides responsive and professional customer service while ensuring inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely manner. attendance tracking, auditions, assessments, and related student activitiesCoordinating studio reservations, A/V setup, and other event logistics as requiredMaintaining departmental schedules, including meetings, travel, and other administrative commitmentsCoordinating administrative requirements for performances and demonstrations, including student lists, schedules, casting information, chaperoning logistics, and event documentationPreparing student reports by collecting, formatting, inputting, and editing teacher commentsLiaising with the Registrar's Department regarding registration, auditions, student records, and program informationActing as a primary point of contact for students, families, teachers, and other constituents, providing timely and professional customer serviceResponding to participant questions and concerns, following up on issues, and escalating matters to the appropriate staff member when requiredAssisting with departmental communications, reports, and administrative materialsSupporting the Head of Comprehensive Dance Programs with departmental priorities, projects, timelines, and administrative requirementsCoordinating administrative workflows and providing day-to-day guidance to part-time administrative staff and volunteers as requiredMaintaining departmental records, filing and retrieval systems, and supplies inventoryCollaborating with internal departments to support website updates, marketing materials, and program communicationsSupporting the timely processing of invoices and departmental expensesAssisting with performances, auditions, workshops, special events, and other program activitiesProviding administrative and logistical support to artistic staff to facilitate the successful delivery of classes and program activitiesMaintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion when handling participant and departmental informationQualifications/Skills/ExperienceMore than anything, we are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, service-oriented, and passionate about supporting programs and creating a positive experience for students and families. Some of the qualifications below are of particular interest:Education:Post-secondary degree or equivalent professional experienceEducation, student services, office administration,
