Overview

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, willing to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in residential construction.

This position will involve working alongside experienced carpenters on a variety of projects including siding, steel roofing, renovations, new construction, framing, trim work, flooring, windows and doors, and general carpentry.

Duties

- Assisting experienced carpenters with daily tasks
- Siding, soffit and fascia installation
- Framing and general carpentry
- Interior trim and finish work
- Flooring installation
- Window and door installation
- Material handling and jobsite setup
- Keeping jobsites clean, organized and safe
- Learning proper construction methods and techniques
- Working efficiently as part of a small crew





Requirements

- Some construction experience preferred, but not required
- Robust work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and working at heights
- Able to take direction and work well with others
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools considered an asset
- Carpentry apprenticeship experience would be considered an asset

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
