MS Power Platform Developer Summary We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform Developer in the Division of Public Health providing primary support for the Health Hazard Control Unit (HHCU) within the Environmental Health section to design, build, and support applications and automation solutions that streamline business processes across the organization. This role focuses on developing enterprise-grade Power Apps, automated workflows, and integrated business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse Create automated workflows to improve business efficiency and replace manual processes Build and optimize Dataverse tables, business rules, relationships, and logic Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, SQL Server, REST APIs, and third‑party systems Develop custom connectors, data models, and forms for enterprise applications Troubleshoot application issues, workflow failures, and performance problems Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions Maintain documentation including design specifications, diagrams, and user guides Follow best practices for environment strategy, security, ALM, and governance Work with security roles, DLP policies, and administrative processes to ensure solution compliance Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven) and Power Automate Experience working with Dataverse, data modeling, and business logic Ability to build workflows, connectors, forms,



and custom components Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) integrations Solid SQL skills and experience integrating with databases Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and up-to-date integration practices Robust analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Power BI, Power Pages, or RPA/Power Automate Desktop Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub CI/CD Microsoft certifications such as PL‑400 or higher Skill Matrix Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Required Experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation. Required 7 Years Proficiency in PowerApps, Power Virtual Agent, and Dataverse. Required 7 Years Knowledge of SQL database structure. Required 7 Years Strong SQL skills and experience integrating with databases Required 7 Years Microsoft Certification-Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher Highly desired Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
