Responsibilities

- Assist senior technicians with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Learn to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams
- Support maintenance tasks on boilers, appliances, and other mechanical equipment
- Develop skills in plumbing, welding, and basic construction practices relevant to HVAC work
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC units to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Participate in the use of diagnostic tools to assess system performance and diagnose faults




- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework related to mechanical or construction trades is a plus
- Basic understanding of plumbing, welding, or mechanical systems preferred
- Strong interest in HVAC technology, appliance repair, or construction work
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently
- Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills on the job
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior experience in mechanic work or construction is advantageous but not required
