Job Summary

We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Assistant Director Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of high-quality early childhood education programs, fostering a nurturing environment where young children can thrive. Duties

- Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily classroom activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with special needs or disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Lead classroom management efforts to ensure a safe, engaging, and respectful atmosphere for children and staff
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones using computer systems
- Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental needs




- Support staff training initiatives focused on early childhood education best practices, child safety, and inclusive teaching strategies

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including classroom experience and childcare roles
- ECE Certification Level 2 or Higher
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development theories
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to organize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
- Excellent writing skills for documentation, reports, and communication with families and team members
- Proficiency in computer operation including basic software applications used for record keeping and communication
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies, special education practices, and experience working with diverse populations is a plus

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
