Assistant Restaurant Manager
Camino Taco | Blue Mountain Village
Ready to take the next step in your restaurant career?
Camino Taco is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who has worked in restaurants, understands hospitality, and is ready for more responsibility.
You may currently be a strong server, bartender, shift lead, counter-service team member, or experienced restaurant employee who knows the business well but hasn’t yet had the opportunity to step into management.
We’re willing to teach the management side. What we’re looking for is someone who already understands great service, urgency, teamwork and what it takes to run a busy restaurant.
This could be a great fit if you:
● Have hands-on restaurant or food & beverage experience
● Have worked as a server, bartender, counter-service employee, shift lead, or in a similar hospitality role
● Have some understanding of both front and back of house operations
● Are confident dealing with customers and resolving issues
● Naturally step in when something needs to get done
● Can keep your energy and composure during a busy service
● Enjoy working with and leading people
● Want to learn more about scheduling, labour, inventory, training and restaurant operations
● Are looking for a career opportunity, not simply another restaurant job
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work alongside restaurant leadership to learn and support all aspects of the operation, including:
● Leading shifts and supporting the team during service
● Maintaining strong hospitality and customer-service standards
● Helping train, coach and develop employees
● Handling guest concerns and service recovery
● Supporting opening and closing procedures
● Monitoring cleanliness, organization and restaurant standards
● Assisting with scheduling, labour and staffing
● Supporting inventory and product controls
● Working wherever you’re needed — floor, bar, counter or occasionally supporting the kitchen
● Learning the operational and leadership skills needed to continue moving into restaurant management The opportunity
We operate multiple food & beverage concepts in the Blue Mountain area, which means there is real opportunity to grow beyond this position.
We’re looking for someone who wants to learn under experienced leadership, strengthen their management skills and eventually take on greater responsibility.
You don’t need to know everything on day one.
You do need restaurant experience, a strong work ethic, good people skills, and the desire to become a excellent restaurant leader.
Full-time | On-site | Weekends and holidays required
If you’ve been thinking, “I’m ready for more responsibility — I just need someone to give me the opportunity,” we’d like to meet you.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35.0 per week
Benefits
- Discounted or free food
- Extended health care
Work Location: In person
