Job Overview: We are seeking a full-time Automation Engineer to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. This is a stable, residential role (40 hours/week, non-rotational) requiring local residency or relocation.

Compensation: Market-competitive salary Fort McMurray living allowance provided on top of base pay.

Key Responsibilities: Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and DCS platforms. Support industrial network infrastructure, communication protocols, and system integration. Assist with operational technology (OT) and system security measures. Provide on-site technical support, testing, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications: Experience with industrial automation, control systems, or instrumentation. Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems and basic industrial networking. Technical background (Degree, Diploma, or hands-on engineering/trade experience). Valid driver's license and willingness to relocate to Fort McMurray.
