Duties

- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match automotive paints to achieve precise color matches for each vehicle.
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and other finishes using spray guns and hand tools with precision.
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, touch up as needed, and perform polishing to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently to facilitate the painting process.
- Assist with minor vehicle repairs or mechanical tasks as required to support overall vehicle restoration.





Requirements

- Proven experience in automotive painting, preferably within a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with automotive repair processes.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and other painting equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in prepping and painting vehicles.
- Knowledge of automotive bodywork repair techniques and surface preparation standards.
- Previous mechanic experience is highly desirable to understand vehicle structures deeply.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality finishes in a timely manner.
