Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble automotive components
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and system inspections
- Operate heavy machinery and industrial equipment like excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery when required for vehicle or equipment servicing
- Read schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and implement solutions
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background with a solid mechanical foundation
- Hands-on experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is highly desirable
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and industrial equipment enhances your versatility
- Familiarity with schematics, diagnostic tools, and automotive repair procedures is essential
- Experience operating power tools and performing heavy lifting safely is required
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate technical information to clients
- Prior experience working with heavy equipment operation or industrial machinery is a plus
