Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and on-time delivery of molds and other components to our customers. The successful candidate will work under the Shop Foreman ensure that products meet key targets while maintaining safety. The successful candidate will need to interface with customers and provide exceptional customer service skills.
- Load / unload truck in safe manner
- Assist with scheduling preventative maintenance on trucks
- Follow proper procedures
- Communicates needs to Shop Foreman
- Communicates with customers during deliveries
- Assist with Miscellaneous tasks as needed (ie. misc pickups and deliveries)
Requirements
- 3-5+ years experience as an AZ or DZ truck driver required
- Experience crossing the Canada-US Border required
- Previous experience within the Tool & Mold Industry preferred
- Experience with transportation and tie down of heavy loads
- Exceptionally well organized
- Ability to time manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks
- Accountable for work performed and strong communication skills
- No criminal record
- Flexible hours -- Monday to Friday, mostly days, with some afternoon/evening requirements from time to time.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ or DZ driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to provide satisfactory CVOR
