Back of House (BOH) Team Member

YOLKS Breakfast – Vaughan/Woodbridge, ON

YOLKS Breakfast is hiring experienced and motivated Back of House Team Members for our Vaughan/Woodbridge location. We’re building our opening team and looking for reliable people who take pride in preparing consistent, high-quality food.

To be considered, you must have at least one year of restaurant kitchen experience, experience working on a quick-paced line, and availability for early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

- At least 1 year of restaurant kitchen/BOH experience
- Experience working on a line in a fast-paced restaurant
- Comfortable with food preparation, cooking and kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines
- Robust understanding of food safety, sanitation and cleanliness
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Able to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen
- Available for early mornings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities




- Prepare and cook menu items according to YOLKS standards
- Set up and maintain assigned kitchen stations
- Complete daily food preparation and stocking
- Maintain quality, portion and presentation standards
- Keep workstations and kitchen areas clean and organized
- Follow proper food-handling and sanitation procedures
- Communicate and work closely with BOH and FOH team members
- Assist with opening, closing and general kitchen duties as required
