Responsibilities
Review and approve monthly financial statements and analyze financial performance.
Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial information.
Oversee internal controls and accounting documentation.
Lead and support the accounting team while ensuring deadlines are met.
Participate in external audits and special projects, including acquisitions and property integrations.
Act as a financial business partner to operations and key stakeholders.
Requirements
15+ years of accounting experience, including team management.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
Experience with Hopem is an asset.
Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
Solid organizational skills, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
Team-oriented leadership style and ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
