Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
- Manage food handling responsibilities by adhering to food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
- Assist in serving food items such as pastries or snacks to enhance the customer experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Experience





- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash register technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively in fast-paced environments
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in order processing and food preparation
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
