Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle cash register operations using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized service to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food prep areas and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards
- Prepare light food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or snacks in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times




- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times

Requirements

- Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred; strong customer service skills are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for safety, sanitation, and food handling practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
- Experience in serving or food preparation roles is a plus; willingness to learn new skills is important
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
