Responsibilities

- Provide professional haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Engage with clients through friendly, clear communication to understand their styling needs and offer expert advice
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, equipment, and work areas
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and increase sales
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting guests, and handling payments
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during service delivery




- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service, encouraging repeat visits

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques for various hair types and styles
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures for tools and equipment
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Excellent communication skills to clearly discuss styles, maintenance tips, and product recommendations
- Experience in retail sales within a salon or similar environment is a plus
- Organizational skills for managing appointments efficiently at the front desk
