Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and accurately handling cash transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance and monitor alcohol consumption responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate orders, ensuring timely service for all guests.
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to promote a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments,
especially in bartending or serving roles.
- Solid knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks seamlessly.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize duties during busy hours without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques within the food industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively hospitality setting while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and beverage presentation standards.
