The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to join the front-of-house team at House of McGrath. You will craft excellent drinks, share your knowledge of our house-brewed beer, cocktails and wine, and make every guest at your bar feel looked after. This is a great chance for a hospitality professional who takes the craft seriously and wants to keep growing.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages to house recipes and presentation standards

- Welcome guests warmly, take drink and food orders at the bar, and provide attentive, personalized service

- Know the beverage menu in depth and make confident recommendations, including featured drinks and pairings

- Serve alcohol responsibly, checking identification and following all liquor laws and house policies

- Set up and break down the bar each shift, including stocking, garnishes, tools and glassware

- Monitor bar inventory and communicate ordering needs to management





- Process payments accurately and reconcile tabs through the POS

- Work closely with servers, hosts and the kitchen to keep service seamless

- Keep the bar clean, organized and safe, in line with health and safety standards

What You Bring

- Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant, bar or hospitality setting

- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, modern techniques, beer, wine and spirits

- A warm, professional manner and excellent communication skills

- Ability to multitask under pressure without compromising drink quality

- Curiosity about beverages and a desire to keep learning

- Valid Smart Serve certification

- Adaptable availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
