Bartender – Part-Time & Full-Time

Staybridge Suites Aurora East is looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. We have part-time and full-time positions available.

The Bartender will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests while preparing and serving beverages and food in a professional, welcoming, and responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with hotel standards.
- Take food orders, prepare basic food items as required, and serve food to guests.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
- Take beverage and food orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and food service area.
- Follow proper food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Check identification and ensure compliance with all applicable alcohol service regulations.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices.
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and daily bar setup and closing duties.
- Promote a positive guest experience and represent the hotel professionally.
- Work closely with the Front Office and other hotel departments to support smooth operations.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Smart Serve certification required.
- Valid Food Handler certification required.
- Previous bartending or food and beverage experience is an asset.
- Solid customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Flexible availability for afternoon, evening, and late-night shifts as required.
- Reliable and dependable with strong attention to detail.

Pay: From $18.90 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
