We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and caring individual to join our Before and After School Care team! This is initially a temporary maternity leave coverage position, with the strong potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be supporting school-aged children (Kindergarten to 12 years old) in a fun, protected, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during morning and afternoon care sessions.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, arts, and outdoor play.
- Provide full-day care and programming on Career development (Pro-D) days and school holiday breaks.
- Maintain a clean, inclusive, and welcoming safe environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Responsible Adult Certificate (or willing to obtain prior to start date).
- Clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (K–12 years old) is a strong asset.
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
