St. Helens Meat Packers is looking for an energetic, personable and motivated salesperson to join our growing sales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing current business and working directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and contact prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Generate current sales and develop repeat business.
- Communicate with store managers, buyers and consumers to understand customer needs and product trends.
- Promote our products and build brand awareness.
- Provide excellent sales and customer service.
- Work closely with our production and logistics teams to meet customer requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- University degree or post-secondary education preferred.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written.
- Previous sales experience preferred.
- Meat or food sales experience is an asset, but not required.
- Knowledge of beef and meat products is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, trustworthy and robust work ethic.
- Confident and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel when required.
