Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and damages
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using specialized software and manual calculations
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to facilitate claims processing and approvals
- Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Upsell additional services or repairs that may benefit the customer while maintaining transparency
- Handle cash transactions, payment processing, and maintain accurate financial records related to estimates and repairs
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background with mechanical knowledge
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience in sales or upselling automotive services or repairs
- Familiarity with automotive estimating software and manual estimation techniques
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of mechanic processes, vehicle systems, and repair procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
