About the Role

GreenPump Energy is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. You will work closely with management and our accounting partners to ensure transactions, invoices, payments, and financial records are properly maintained.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and bookkeeping entries.
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
- Maintain organized records of company expenses, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor and maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process and track vendor invoices and payments.
- Verify invoices for accuracy and proper approval before payment.
- Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on receivables when required.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
- Assist with payment processing and ensure transactions are properly recorded.

Payroll & Employee Expenses
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Track employee expenses, reimbursements, and receipts.
- Review expense reports and supporting documentation for accuracy.
- Maintain confidential employee and payroll information.

Tax & Financial Reporting Support
- Assist with GST/HST tracking, reporting,



and documentation.
- Prepare financial information and supporting documents for month-end and year-end reporting.
- Assist with financial records, reconciliations, and year-end requirements.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management when required.
- Ensure financial documents are properly organized and readily accessible.

Administrative & Compliance Support
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
- Ensure invoices, receipts, statements, and other financial documents are properly filed.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial administration.
- Identify discrepancies or unusual transactions and bring them to management's attention.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, vendor, and customer information.
- Support other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Key Skills & QualificationsAccounting & Bookkeeping Skills
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting administration.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working with financial data and identifying discrepancies.

Software Proficiency




- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Comfortable working with cloud-based systems and digital document management.
- Ability to learn new software and internal systems quickly.

Organization & Time Management
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable and consistent when handling recurring financial tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing company.

Communication & Professionalism
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with management, employees, vendors, customers, and external accountants.
- Professional, dependable, and proactive.
- Able to handle confidential financial information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
