Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Branch Manager, the Branch Manager will be responsible for leading, directing and coordinating operations, personnel and leading the growth and succession of Flowmax. This is a dynamic role involving many facets, including overseeing staffing, revenue generation, safety, billing, logistics and equipment. The successful candidate will have the desire to provide vision, lead and develop others, and ensure corporate objectives are met.

Leadership

- Provide leadership, vision, and mentorship within the branch.
- Promote a positive work environment, strong morale, and employee engagement.
- Lead by example and foster a strong Flowmax culture.
- Develop and support future leaders within the branch.
- Achieve corporate goals, objectives, and performance targets.
- Serve as the branch’s operational, sales, and safety leader.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and avenues for growth.
- Grow the Flowmax client base while supporting the development and evolution of customer contracts and rental agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Administration

- Ensure RTMS records are accurate, current, and maintained in accordance with company requirements.
- Review and approve invoices, timesheets, and expense accounts in accordance with company policy.
- Follow established accounts payable processes and procedures.




- Maintain accurate, organized, and current inventory records.
- Demonstrate strong cost awareness and financial accountability.
- Work effectively with head office and various departments to support branch requirements.
- Ensure efficient office administration and timely completion of all required deadlines.

Operations

- Coordinate all branch functions to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operations.
- Maintain strong operational knowledge of Flowmax equipment, services, and processes.
- Support dispatch and field operations as required.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on project requirements and branch activity.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
- Support employees across departments as required to ensure operational success.
- Identify branch-specific needs and implement best practices and improvements.
- Maintain active involvement with Field Operations, Sales, and Dispatch.
- Monitor and achieve equipment utilization, pricing, and operational targets.
- Promote and strengthen Flowmax’s presence and reputation within the industry.

Financial Management

- Develop an annual branch budget aligned with Flowmax’s corporate objectives.
- Approve purchases and expenditures in accordance with company policy and established authority levels.
- Ensure accruals are accurate and current.




- Review and interpret monthly operating statements and financial results.Monitor branch performance and maintain expenses within budget.Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Performance Management

- Recognize, address, and appropriately manage employee issues and concerns.
- Work closely with HR to interview, hire, and effectively onboard new employees.
- Conduct employee evaluations and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Document performance concerns and employee management issues appropriately.
- Hold employees accountable to their job descriptions, competencies, and performance expectations.
- Recognize, develop, and retain high-performing employees.
- Support a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous development.

Health, Safety & Environment

- Lead the branch in achieving all corporate HSE initiatives and objectives.
- Model safe work practices and procedures; demonstrate a positive attitude toward safety.
- Work closely with the HSE Manager to ensure company HSE policies, procedures, and best practices are consistently followed.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate controls.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees understand and meet their HSE responsibilities.
